Baptism is a powerful next step in your faith, and at VBF, you can take that step any weekend. No complicated process—just a church family ready to celebrate with you.
Baptism at VBF
Baptism is a public declaration of your faith in Jesus and an outward expression of the change He has made in your life. Baptism does not save us. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism is a celebration of what God has already done in us and a step of obedience as we follow Him.
Jesus Himself was baptized, and as His followers, we want to follow in His steps.
“As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water.”
Matthew 3:16
At VBF, baptism is one of the most meaningful and joyful steps you can take in your walk with Jesus. If you have made the decision to follow Christ and have not yet been baptized, we would love to celebrate this moment with you.

Kids and Students
We love baptizing kids who are ready. For our 2nd through 5th graders, we walk them through a simple booklet first so they truly understand the step they're taking.

Connect With Our Baptism Team
Just head to the patio baptismal after any Sunday service. A member of our Baptism Team will be there to welcome you, walk you through the process, hear your story, and pray with you before your baptism.
Step Into The Water
We’ll provide a Live Like Jesus shirt for you to keep, and we have shorts and towels available if you need them. Bring your people to cheer you on and mark this important moment in your walk with Jesus.
Common Questions
Do I need to sign up ahead of time?
Nope. You can simply show up ready. If you'd like us to know you're coming so we can celebrate with you, just let us know below.
Can my child be baptized?
Yes, when they understand the decision for themselves. Our 2nd–5th grade kids go through a short booklet first so it's meaningful and clear.
What's the difference between baptism and baby dedication?
Baptism is a personal decision someone makes for themselves. Baby and Child Dedication is a separate step for parents — held monthly, usually the first Sunday, for any age.
What do I wear?
Wear something comfortable to get wet in. We provide a Live Like Jesus shirt for you to keep, and shorts and towels are available to borrow if needed.
