-If you have law-enforcement, correctional, or security background, we need you! Please visit the Information Booth.

-Passionate Hearts:
-Christ-centered, ten-month support group for women wounded by childhood abuse (sexual abuse), begins in September.
-If you are interested, please fill out a Passionate Hearts Response Card found at the Information Booth and drop it in the Chatterbox in the foyer.

-Summer Blast Outreach: Saturday, August 16, at Heritage Park, from 12- 4 pm
-We are looking for volunteers to help serve free food, play games with kids, cut hair, and more.
-Please sign up in the lobby today!

-Neighborhood Outreach: This Sunday, August 17, following services
-We will be having free face painting, haircuts, and bike repairs for our neighborhood children next Sunday.

-Resource: Save Our Water & Make a Difference
-California is experiencing our driest year on record, and Kern County is a top county hurting because of the drought.
-Together, let’s make a difference by pledging to conserve.
-Visit the booth outside to sign up and receive a list of practical ways we can daily conserve.

-MOPS: Mother’s of Preschoolers
-Now accepting registration forms from mothers with children ages 0-5 years old, who would love to support the area of mothering.
-MOPS exists to encourage, equip, and develop every mother.
-For more information, visit the booth outside today.

Food Pantry:
-If you would like to help the food pantry with donations for the needy, please pick up a grocery bag from the grocery cart on the patio & return the purchased items to the same area.

-Children’s Learning Center: New Name & New Hours!
-VBF’s preschool will now be called Valley Preschool, and is open year round, from 7 am – 6 pm. It is an approved Community Connection provider.
-Both Valley School & Preschool are here to assist families in helping their children reach the full potential God has for them.
-Stop by our booth on the patio today! Special registration discounts will be given to those who mention this announcement.
