Serve Week is an opportunity to love our local community through acts of kindness and care. On June 3 through 8, you will have a variety of opportunities each day to serve with others at VBF. We will provide the opportunities, and you can select which projects fit best within your schedule. We can’t wait to love like Jesus as we get the amazing opportunity to serve Bakersfield through selfless love.

This team will show appreciation and support to local law enforcement agencies that keep our highways, streets, and neighborhoods safe. We will bless them with food platters and encouraging notes. We will visit the CHP at 9855 Compagnoni St. at 12:30 pm. Next, we will visit the Kern County Sheriff’s office at 1350 Norris Rd at 2:30 pm. Lastly, we will visit the Bakersfield Police Department at 1601 Truxtun Ave. at 3:30 pm. This project is kid friendly.

Saturday, June 8 – LOVE BAKERSFIELD PROJECT – SIGN UP HERE!
Join us for Love Bakersfield at our VBF East Campus on Saturday, June 8, at 8 am. The doors will open at 7:30 am, where you can pick up your shirt and sign up for a project. Love Bakersfield is a community event where we will unite with other local churches and our city officials to show God’s great love to our beautiful city. There will be a variety of service projects to choose from that day. Bring the whole family for the Love Bakersfield launch at 8 am this Saturday as we worship with dozens of local churches and go out as one body to love the people of Bakersfield.
